Runway Switched-on Group Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy“) that governs how we, switched on group (SOG). and our affiliate brands Runway, Master plans, Capsule etc (collectively, “SOG“, “we“, “us” or “our“), use Personal Information (defined below) pertaining to each of our registered users and/or our unregistered visitors (“User“, “you“) that we collect, receive and store in connection with the use of our websites. Any capitalised but undefined term in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to it in the Terms, available at: privacy@runway.com.au

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, before using our Site, so you can fully understand our practices in relation to Personal Information.

We receive and/or collect Personal Information from you when you:

In order to receive update, we will request the following Personal Information from you: Your first name, email address, telephone, company name. This information is mandatory so we could contact you and respond to your request and send information such as newsletters and product releases.
  • Posting comments on our User Communication Platforms. The community Forum. Information we collect includes first name, last name, email address, telephone, company name.
  • Request to receive updates and newsletters from us. We collect Personal information when you send us a request to receive updates via our Site enquiry form. In order to receive update, we will request the following Personal Information from you: Your first name, last name, email address, telephone, company name. This information is mandatory so we could contact you and respond to your request and send information such as newsletters and product releases.
  • Commencing direct communications with us either in relation to a New Business or Support Query We collect Personal Information when you commence direct communications with us by send us a “contact us”, “Jira Ticket”. We will request the following Personal Information from you:. Your first name, last name, email address, telephone, company name. This information is necessary so we can contact you and respond to your request and send information. When you commence direct communications with us, we will retain such communication(s) and the accompanying Personal Information you provide together with them for the amount of time necessary to adequately and professionally process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services to our Users.

3. General use of our Site.

The Site makes use of log files. 4. How We Use and Share Personal Information.

We will Collect, Use and Share your Personal Information in the following circumstances:

  • We will use the Personal Information you provide in connection with a request for updates that you submit on the Site and its related services to notify you about and send you updates and/or newsletters (for marketing or other purposes), regarding our offers, products and/or services.
  • We will use some (or all) of your Personal Information to identify and authenticate your access to the parts of the Site and the related services that you are authorized to access.
  • We will use your Personal Information that you provide in connection with a “contact us” “demo request” and “Support” request that you submit on the Site to contact you in response to your inquiry.

SOG will take appropriate steps to ensure that transfers of Personal Information are in accordance with applicable laws and carefully managed to protect your privacy rights and interests. To this end:

  • where we transfer your Personal Information outside of SOG, for example to third parties who help provide our products and services, we will obtain contractual commitments from them to protect your Personal Information.
  • where we receive requests for information from law enforcement or regulators, we carefully validate these requests before any Personal Information is disclosed.
  • Subject to applicable laws, you have a right to contact us for more information about the safeguards we have put in place (including a copy of relevant contractual commitments) to ensure the adequate protection of your Personal Information when this is transferred as mentioned above. SOG regularly send marketing materials to our database:

  • We may use your Personal Information to let you know about our products and services that we believe will be of interest to you. We may contact you by email, or telephone or through other communication channels. In all cases, we will respect your preferences for how you would like us to manage marketing activity with you.
  • To protect privacy rights and to ensure you have control over how we manage marketing with you, we will take steps to limit direct marketing to a reasonable and proportionate level and only send you communications which we believe may be of interest or relevance to you.

 

8. Opt-Out.

We take your preferences seriously:

  • You may choose not to receive future emails from us by pressing an unsubscribe link added at the bottom of each email that you receive from us.
  • Please note that even if you opt out of receiving the foregoing emails, we may still send you a response to any “Contact Us” request as well as administrative emails (for example, invoices) that are necessary to facilitate your use of the Site or the Account.

  • Accuracy and Correction of Personal Information. To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, please ensure that it remains accurate. Your email should include adequate details of your request and also contain the following email topic: “PERSONAL INFORMATION UPDATE REQUEST”. We will provide initial responses to such requests within a reasonable period of time.
  • Access. You have a right to access information held about you. Your right of access can normally be exercised free of charge, however we reserve the right to charge an appropriate administrative fee where permitted by applicable law.
  • Restriction of Processing. You have a right to restrict the processing of your Personal Information, for example in case when we no longer need your Personal Information for the initial purposes for which they were collected.
  • Complaint. You have a right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you have concerns about how we are processing your Personal Information. We ask that you please attempt to resolve any issues with us first, although you have a right to contact your supervisory authority at any time.

At all times, you may choose whether or not to provide Personal Information to SOG. The notices that we provide on the Site in circumstances where we collect Personal Information should help you make this choice. If you choose not to provide the Personal Information we request, you can still use the Site, but you may be unable to access certain functions, and services that involve our interaction with you.
